Help us Build our Dream Off Grid Home

This fundraiser serves a significant purpose for us as we are raising money to build our home off the grid. With the money we will rehabilitate a 300-year-old stone house.

We are Ricardo, Agnes and Kala.

In October 2021 we decided to sell our house in the UK, pay our mortgage debts and buy a land in Spain to live a simpler and more self-sustainable life.

In June 2022 we found an abandoned land with a 300-years-old stone house in ruins. The property is perfect to fulfill our dream of going to live off the grid in Spain.

We used all the financial resources we had to purchase and document the land. As we no longer have an address in the UK, we are putting all our focus and resources into restoring the Finca and rehabilitating the stone house.

Once we manage to rehabilitate the stone house, this will become our new home. There at the Finca we will live off the grid in a self-sustainable way applying the principles of permaculture.

To make this dream come true, we need money to execute the project that involves an architect, and the bricklayers. We are trying to carry out this project to restore the finca and rehabilitate the stone house debt free.

Our goal with this fundraiser is to reach €65,000.

The money raised will be used to pay the architect (€10,000), the bricklayers (€35,000), and also to purchase the materials needed to carry out the project such as cement, sand, stones, wood (€20,000).

This project has a very important meaning for us.

In addition to restoring the Finca and rehabilitating the stone house, we are also rescuing a history that has been forgotten for a long time, as we believe that the foundation of the stone house, along with the cistern and well were built in the Neolithic period.

We know this project will not be easy. But with your help and support we will certainly be able to bring life back to this abandoned land, rehabilitate the stone house and make this Finca our new Home.

We will share our journey on Youtube. There we will document the entire process of restoring the Finca and rehabilitating the stone house using the principles of permaculture.
